During Ubisoft Forward, we saw a cinematic trailer followed by pre-alpha gameplay footage. For those who missed it, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was released in 2017 to critical acclaim. The turn-based strategy game sees you play as Mario as he attempts to save the Mushroom Kingdom from a mishap caused by a group of Rabbids. In the trailer for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, we see our favorite characters, including Mario, Luigi, Peach, and the adorable Rabbits, on a spaceship when an anomaly is detected....
From the images and video shown, we see Cardenas unboxing a black VR headset and controller, with the headset boasting three cameras on the visor. The controllers also look vastly different from the Meta Quest 2’s controllers, seeing as there is no loop in sight. What’s more, the top of the controller shown has what looks like a small, circular sensor, which could be used for better body tracking capabilities....

Microsoft this week announced that while the Creators Update updating process is going relatively well, some problems have cropped up along the way. In a blog post, Microsoft said that it’s decided to roll out a “block” so that some users with certain devices aren’t able to download the Creators Update until it can fix issues with the update running on those devices. Microsoft’s Director of Program Management for Windows Servicing and Delivery John Cable said that the company discovered one instance in which certain PCs running older Broadcom Bluetooth radios were unable to reconnect to Bluetooth-connected devices after the Creators Update was applied....
The new stable Beta will also be receiving updates every six weeks, so if you run into any issues, they will most likely be addressed in the upcoming updates. Laptop Mag has learned that Microsoft will not be charging the $49 fee at all. The move to S mode means that no one will have to pay, whether you’re upgrading from Windows 10 S Pro to Windows 10 Pro as you can currently move, or to Windows 10 Home or Enterprise in the future. In other words, the move not to charge is also retroactive. This move eliminates a strange gap of time that would have existed between the March 31 deadline and when Microsoft implements S mode....

The second edition of Microsoft’s Surface Laptop is similar to the first, and that’s not a bad thing at all. This 13.5-inch touch-screen laptop is a sleek, minimalist machine with an Alcantara keyboard that’s nice to look at and touch. This year’s model offers two notable perks: modern 8th-Gen Intel processors and a slick black color (though you need to spend more for it). Its sluggish SSD and lack of Type-C ports are my only knocks against this laptop....

Design While some MSI branding might give away who really makes this computer, I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t recognize it at first. The first thing I noticed when I laid my eyes on the notebook was Xotic’s $89 custom graphic wrap on the lid. The Apache came with the same combination of futuristic red lines on top of a black and gray background that we saw on the GT72 Dominator Pro, and Xotic’s logo is also placed prominently on the wrap....
